Enrollment can be through either an eligible vehicle or Level 2 charger. You can earn up to $120 annually in bill credits, depending on the type of charger you use, and even more based on the number of devices you enroll in the program.
Plus, if you also enroll in the EV Time-of-Use Rate, you could save up to $240 annually.
Drivers participating with an enrolled vehicle will receive:
- $5/month per enrolled vehicle with a Level 1 charger (120V/wall outlet)
- $10/month per enrolled vehicle with a Level 2 charger (240V/2.5kW or higher)
Drivers participating with an enrolled charger will receive:
- $10/month per enrolled Level 2 charger (240V/2.5kW or higher)
For example, if you enroll two eligible vehicles and charge with a Level 2 charger, you can earn $20/month. If those same vehicles were charged with a Level 1 charger, you’d earn $10/month instead.
In addition to the above, each enrolled vehicle or home charging station must:
- Charge at-home at least once a month
- Charge at home within 'Smart' times at least 50% of the time during the month and don’t override more than 4 times per enrolled vehicle or home charging station
The bill credit will be applied to the following month’s bill.
Note: If you have both an eligible vehicle and a compatible charger, you must choose to participate with either the charger or the vehicle, not both.
