It usually takes up to one minute for WeaveGrid to receive your immediate charging request, start charging, and update your charging status in the WeaveGrid app or dashboard.
However, there are times when it can take up to 15 minutes to make the connection, or the WeaveGrid app may lag behind what is actually happening. There is a high chance your car is charging, but the WeaveGrid app doesn’t show it yet!
Here’s what to do if you’re having trouble:
Step 1: Check your charger
Make sure your vehicle is actually plugged in, and the charger shows it's connected (look for a light or notification on the charger itself).
Step 2: Wait a few minutes
Give us up to 15 minutes to start charging after you’ve sent the ‘charge now’ command.
Step 3: Unplug, replug, and wait for the ‘charge scheduled’ notification
If charging still hasn't started after 15 minutes, unplug your vehicle completely and plug it back in. This resets the connection and often gets charging started right away.
Wait until you get the text or notification that you’ve got a charging schedule, then text us, or hit Charge Now in the WeaveGrid dashboard or app. You can also start charging directly from your charger or vehicle console, or their respective apps.
Step 4: Contact support
If charging still doesn't start after replugging, reach out to WeaveGrid support at support@WeaveGrid.com and add “Urgent - Charge Now Issue” to your subject.
