When you plug in your vehicle, Toyota/Lexus notifies WeaveGrid to create an optimized charge schedule that meets your mobility needs. WeaveGrid then sends that schedule back to your vehicle.
If the charging schedule spans across midnight, you may notice a brief pause; charging will stop at 11:55 PM and resume at 12:00 AM. This five-minute gap is due to a limitation in the vehicle’s scheduling system (specifically in Toyota bZ4X and Lexus RZ models), which splits charging schedules into a calendar day.
Despite this brief interruption, your charging session should complete as expected. Toyota/Lexus has assured WeaveGrid that this behavior is intentional and does not pose a concern for the longevity of your battery or vehicle.
You will see notifications about the pause in the Toyota/Lexus app when it occurs. However, on the WeaveGrid side, we will communicate the charge session as a single schedule.
