How does the referral program work?
If you're an active participant in BGE's Smart Charge Management Program or Vehicle Charging Time of Use Rate with a fully connected WeaveGrid account, you can refer friends and neighbors and earn rewards when they enroll and complete their first charge session through WeaveGrid using the link in your WeaveGrid dashboard.
Who's eligible to participate?
This program is open to customers who are completely new to WeaveGrid. Anyone with an existing WeaveGrid account, whether currently enrolled or previously enrolled in a program, isn't eligible to be referred.
What does my referred friend need to do to qualify?
They need to:
- Enroll using your unique referral link before September 30, 2026
- Sign up for a WeaveGrid managed charging or monitoring program
- Complete at least one charge session that's logged on the WeaveGrid platform (this means their device needs to be successfully connected)
How much do we get paid?
You'll receive $25 for each friend you successfully refer, and they'll receive $25 too. Both incentives are paid via our partner ChoiceDigital.
Incentive recipients will receive an email from ChoiceDigital with details about how to redeem the incentive(s).
How many people can I refer?
You can earn rewards for up to 20 friends you refer.
When will I get paid?
Within 90 days of your friend's successful enrollment, as long as all eligibility and process requirements are met. Since we process incentives once a month, it might take until the following month to see your reward after your friend completes their first managed charging session.
Can the program change or end?
Yes, WeaveGrid may modify or end the referral program at any time. If that happens, any rewards you've already fully earned will still be paid out; partially earned or unearned rewards won't be.
What if I have questions about my reward status?
Reward eligibility is determined at WeaveGrid's discretion. If you have questions about a specific referral, reach out to your WeaveGrid support at bge-support@weavegrid.com
